At Scientific Mould Experts, our priority is delivering accurate, independent, and thorough mould inspections and air quality assessments. While we are committed to providing professional reports for our clients, we would like to make our position regarding legal proceedings and court attendance clear:
If I am requested or required to attend court, participate in legal proceedings, or provide expert witness testimony (either in person or via affidavit), the following fees apply:
- Full-day court attendance:
$4,000 + GST ($4,400 total)
- Half-day court attendance (up to 4 hours):
$2,000 + GST ($2,200 total)
- Additional costs: The client must also cover any reasonable expenses including parking fees and a meal allowance for the day(s) of attendance.
Payment Terms:
All fees must be paid in full upfront and cleared into our business account prior to the commencement of any court proceedings. We will not attend court unless payment has been received and cleared.
These rates reflect the time taken away from regular inspection work, preparation of expert materials, and the disruption associated with attending legal proceedings.
